Day 15

So far mother nature has been pretty good to us. Giving us sunny days and warm temperatures. But we knew our luck was going to run out and on day 15 it did!!!! We woke up in Brandon to a rainy miserable day. The ride into Winnipeg was wet, cold, and very very windy. And it wasn't what riders would call good back wind...more like head wind. I thought wind would travel west to east and give us a little push but the wind is pushing us back. It gets very frustrating sometimes...maybe just ask Pete how he feels about the head wind:)

About 75 kms into our ride we stopped in a small town called Macgregor and visited with Pete Ciere's family. His sister, Jane, prepared an incredible homemade lunch for us. There was even homemade chocolates and they were delicious. Pete and Jimmy's pants looked a little heavy when they left...Im pretty sure they sneaked a few pieces in their pants lol. Thanks so much for opening your home to us!!!!

After our lunch we continued with our ride into Winnipeg. We struck a milestone today, we hit our half way point.  Just a little over two weeks until we are home.

Once we got into Winnipeg we dropped our bikes off at MEC for some minor repairs and headed to our hotel.

Today is another rest day. We are definitely going to take full advantage of this rest day and relax. Maybe even head to the movies and catch the new hangover.

Keep the comments coming we love hearing from everyone.
