Rest day in Calgary

We were all waiting for this day to come...A rest day finally!!!! We woke up Wednesday morning to the sun shinning on the beautiful City of Calgary. We loaded up into the car and headed over to the Calgary Police Association for the BBQ fundraiser. It was held at their Association and many officers and civilians came out to support us. Thank you so much for making us feel part of the CPA family.

After the BBQ we headed over to pick up our bikes from MEC. The entire staff was so helpful and made sure our bikes are in tip top shape to get us through the prairies.

Later in the afternoon Jim and I headed over to the spa and treated ourselves to a relaxing massage. Wow did we feel like champs and we are ready to continue with our ride.
